Not elsewhere.

I wrote four books and put them into one volume: The Apex Frame.

We’ve been blowing up on Instagram. I’ve also developed a few full-scale apps.

Books. An audience. Software. Different outputs. Same underlying subject.

Your frame.

The thing underneath everything else

As far as I’m concerned, your frame is the most important thing to understand in the modern world.

Everybody has instructions for you. What to want. What to believe. What to feel guilty about. What you’re allowed to say. How much ambition is acceptable before somebody gets uncomfortable.

Then you get handed another feed, another strategy, another AI tool.

Fine. But who’s using it?

A man creating what he wants? Or a man with better equipment for chasing approval?

Frame is the psychological container underneath your thoughts, beliefs, interpretations, and actions. The position you’re operating from. It shapes what you pursue, what you tolerate, how you handle resistance, and whether you act at all.

You can know exactly what to do and still refuse to do it. You can make money and remain ashamed of wanting it. You can look successful while one person’s disapproval runs your entire afternoon.

Another tactic doesn’t resolve that contradiction.

Four books. One volume.

1. The Slave’s Prison. Recognize the frame you’ve been living inside: resentment, inherited shame, false humility, and the cultural machinery that makes ambition feel like something to apologize for.

2. The Apex Will. Move from external permission and shame-driven “should” to internally affirmed worth, authentic want, and the Win-Win position. Stop making every outcome a ruling on who you are.

3. The Apex in the Arena. Take that into action. Criticism. Inaction. Self-sabotage. The lag between deciding what you want and actually living it. Holding your frame when there’s friction—not just when you’re alone feeling inspired.

4. The Apex’s Dominion. Bring it into how you create, persuade, lead, handle rejection, and conduct your relationships. The move from performing a position to inhabiting it.

That’s The Apex Frame. Not a dating manual with a few business metaphors attached. Not a collection of confidence tricks.

The work is about the man underneath the tactics. The frame from which he thinks, wants, builds, relates, and lives.

Philosophy, faith, culture, and practical action all enter into it. These are tools to use, not a new religion of rules to beat yourself with. The aim is embodiment, not memorizing my vocabulary.

What you’ll get here

I’ll be writing here again, with room to go further than a reel.

Frame in the modern world. Shame, status, cultural pressure, competing narratives, and who gets to set the terms of your own life.

Frame in relationships. Attraction, marriage, polarity, boundaries, and the difference between leading and needing control.

Frame in building. Business, money, sales, technology, and what I’m learning while developing the apps and growing the audience. Making things instead of endlessly preparing to make them.

The Instagram posts, the books, and the apps aren’t separate personalities. They’re places this gets expressed.

Frame doesn’t replace skill or make reality obey you. It changes the position from which you meet reality. You can pursue the result without needing it to grant you worth. You can change the approach without collapsing with it.

That’s why the Apex Frame belongs in all of it.

The book gives you the full treatment. Here, we’ll get into how it plays out.

Get The Apex Frame. All four books in one volume.

Aaron Ernst

How To Increase Status in Life & Business

Explore how to increase your status in life and business with the RARE method: being Real, Amoral, Ruthless, and Elite.

I have departed from the house of the scholars, and the door have I also slammed behind me. Too long did my soul sit hungry at their table: not like them have I got the knack of investigating, as the knack of nut-cracking. Freedom do I love, and the air over fresh soil; rather would I sleep on ox-skins than on their honours and dignities.
-Zarathustra

Once, men sought reflections of their souls in the eyes of their brethren—yearning for a harmonious accord. They scanned barren landscapes, in hopeful anticipation, only to turn away, searching for guidance in the depths of another's gaze. But serpents and snails were they, so their eyes never truly met—each man opposing his neighbor. Thus they have continued to do what was right in their own eyes, as they have always done, and still do to this day.

Yet now, one teaches another to choose the tools that naturally fit one's hands, guiding each on their unique path. No longer mere sheep, they learn the alchemy of transforming soil into gold, acquiring ships to sail and sell, elevating themselves beyond mere existence.

It's in the unanswered texts, the cold-shouldered sales pitches, and the glaring absence of clapping hands on one's latest social media post. It's in the missed promotions, the failed ventures, and the ill-timed calamities that one didn't ‘sign up for’ but must nonetheless endure. It lurks in the pain of unrequited love, the haunting silence following a romantic overture gone awry. It's even in the harrowing emptiness that follows the death of a loved one—a setback that tests the limits of one's resilience.

Rejection and negativity: society's cheap cologne, a scent that clings to nearly everyone but wins no accolades.

Consider this: the masses are trapped in their perpetual cycles of disappointment and failure, not because they lack the will to power, but because they exercise it in the most trivial and self-defeating ways. These are not mere victims of circumstance but active participants in their own retarded stagnation, wielding a slave morality that reinforces their limited scope of action and ambition. Retreats, gurus, and masterbations won't elevate them; these are but materbations and distractions, temporary escapes from a condition deeply rooted in their being. Against this backdrop, the overcomer emerges, guided by a master morality that seeks not just to wield power, but to redefine it.

The Hypothesis: Rejecting the Ordinary for the Extraordinary

What if one could become the alchemist of one's destiny, transforming every scintilla of rejection and negativity into pure, undiluted power? Imagine a life where these common hindrances become the raw materials for constructing an empire of self-dominance, where every 'no' heard is a 'yes' to one's internal fortitude. The hypothesis of this treatise is straightforward yet revolutionary to those that have eyes to see it: the mastery of rejection and negativity is not merely an option; it's an imperative for anyone seeking a life that shatters mediocrity and soars into the realm of the extraordinary.

The Vision: From Mere Mortal to Omnipotent Overlord

Picture it: a life where rejection is not a roadblock but free progressive energy, where negativity is not an anvil but a lever. No longer confined by the gravitational pull of societal norms and judgments, one becomes the master manipulator of one's universe. This is a realm where every critique refines one's strategy, every disappointment fuels one's ambition, and every naysayer becomes a footnote in the tome of one's legacy. In this existence, the world is not a maze to navigate but a game board to dominate, each piece moves with the deftness of a seasoned strategist. This is a realm where the thoughts of others only serve as fuel if they align with one's strategic goals, freeing one from the tyranny of external judgments."

If one’s goal is not merely to survive the murky waters of rejection and negativity but to transform them into a wellspring of untapped power, then brace for impact. The transition from pitiful pawn to the board’s mastermind begins now.

Welcome to a landscape where the stakes are high and the rewards can be substantial. Challenge assumed limits without pretending real constraints disappear. Frame changes how one meets reality; it does not erase biological or circumstantial ceilings.

Prepare to rewrite the rules of the game. The arena awaits, and one’s throne is but a conquest away.

Editorial update — September 8, 2026: The written edition now distinguishes intrinsic worth from achievement, acknowledges past conditioning, and recognizes real-world limits, consistent with The Apex Frame. The original audio commentary predates these written revisions and has not been re-recorded.

The painting portrays David, the underdog, holding the decapitated head of Goliath, exemplifying the triumph of wit and skill over brute force, and serving as an allegory for overcoming obstacles in the quest for power.

Overcomer

To truly be an overcomer in this intricate game of social chess, one must first dispense with the comforting illusions of moral judgment. Denying the existence of these power dynamics and ego plays is akin to navigating a minefield blindfolded. To sidestep the obstacles, they must be seen clearly for what they are: psychological edifices constructed from people's perceptions of themselves and the world around them.

It's imperative to grasp that when others aim their judgments or criticisms, they are not really about the recipient; they are reflective mirrors of the critics' own insecurities, ambitions, and psychological constructs. When someone attempts to suppress, it's because they are fighting an internal battle, using the target as a scapegoat on which to project their fears and limitations. By understanding this, one arms oneself with the essential wisdom to rise above the fray and navigate the terrain of human interaction with the agility and precision of a seasoned tactician. Recognize that as one climbs the ladder of power and success, these psychological maneuvers from others won't diminish; they'll only become more complex and subtle.

One's ascent threatens the status quo, and each rung climbed exposes to a new level of social dynamics rife with its own set of tactics designed to keep one "in one's place." However, this is not a cause for discouragement but an invitation for greater mastery. Awareness of these dynamics equips one to engage more strategically, turning social battlegrounds into opportunities for growth and consolidation of power.

Adopting this mindset doesn't make one cynical; it makes one discerning. Detaching from the emotional undertow of other people's judgments allows operation from a vantage point of clarity. This clarity doesn't just illuminate one's path; it enables the turning of tables. One can leverage the predictable behaviors and insecurities of others to one's advantage. In essence, one becomes not just a player but a composer in the symphony of social dynamics, directing the music rather than getting lost in it. The key lies in recognizing the melody of human will to power and learning to conduct it to compose one's own life's masterpiece.

It presents a laissez-faire stance, aspiring to transcend everyday concerns—whatever they may be. The core notion suggests that indifference leads to the acquisition or enhancement of power. This concept has gained such popularity that it's now espoused in bestsellers like 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***.' As tempting as it might sound, the very concept of advocating for 'not caring' is a challenge to counter, a challenge I'll tackle here.

The idea of not caring is a clever marketing strategy aimed at the gullible, as instructing someone not to care inevitably makes them care about the very act of not caring—a paradoxical endeavor. If I contend that our society displays clear signs of self-neglect, evidenced by rising rates of obesity, debt, violence, fatherlessness, and depression, a counterargument could suggest that these issues stem from caring excessively.

Your North Stars

When you're looking to beautify your life, knowing where to begin can be overwhelming, especially if you've spent years in a rut. You've got ingrained habits and mental models that feel set in stone, transforming into an aesthetic demigod seems like an impossible feat. You've summoned the will to change, only to disappoint yourself repeatedly. Yet here you are, still drawn to the idea of rising above a life of mediocrity.

You've been hooked by the concepts I've presented in my other articles—exploring the nature of the ugly, the evil, the good, and the attractive—and how these elements are interconnected. But let's face it, these ideas still feel nebulous to you, and you're stuck on square one.

So what am I driving at with all of this?

Let's delve into two key principles: vitalism and aestheticism.

Vitalism: The Life Force

In simple terms, vitalism is the belief in a life force or energy that pervades living organisms. It's not some mystical mumbo jumbo; it's the raw, untapped power that drives you to strive, achieve, and conquer. It's about embracing the fact that you're not just a bunch of cells and chemicals, but a dynamic being with the potential for greatness. By tapping into this primal vitality, you're not just existing; you're fully living. Vitalistic RewardsFrom a vitalistic standpoint, embracing this ethos doesn't just improve your life; it amplifies your very being which is the point. Your body becomes a well-oiled machine, your mind a sharp weapon, your spirit an unbreakable force.

Aestheticism: The Art of Living

<picture></picture>

<g></g><polyline points="15 3 21 3 21 9"></polyline><polyline points="9 21 3 21 3 15"></polyline><line x1="21" x2="14" y1="3" y2="10"></line><line x1="3" x2="10" y1="21" y2="14"></line>

Albert Moore: Reading Aloud, 1884

Aestheticism isn't merely about having a good eye for beauty; it's the practice of making your life a work of art. It is not a lever for engineering someone else’s behavior.

You can be firm without turning the relationship into a compliance program.

Clarify the conflict. Where a genuine alternative exists, offer it. If that alternative is rejected, disengage cleanly.

That is not pleading for permission, issuing a threat, or negotiating away your standards.

It is making your position clear and acting on it.

NO FREE ATTENTION:

1. Attention:

Your woman is berating you, and you don’t want to participate in a conversation conducted that way.

So what do you do?

You do not force her to stop. You do not demand that she certify your authority.

You state the boundary calmly: “I’ll discuss what happened. I won’t stay in a conversation where we’re insulting each other.”

There is a clean alternative: talk about the actual issue without the insults.

If she rejects it, leave the conversation.

Extract yourself from the disturbance. If necessary, leave the room or house.

You cannot control her response. You can control where you position your body and what you participate in.

But don’t confuse a clean exit with a silent treatment campaign. You are not disappearing until she performs the response you want.

When you return, assess whether a genuine conversation is possible. Listen to the substance without accepting contempt as the price of admission.

Her feeling does not automatically make her accusation true. It also does not make the feeling itself illegitimate.

You can acknowledge frustration, own an actual mistake, and still refuse a hostile frame.

What are your actions saying?

“I’m available for a real conversation, not a shame trial.”

AFFECTION IS NOT A BARGAINING CHIP:

2. Affection:

Hugs, kisses, and touch can be part of the enjoyment of being together.

When both people want them, that is a Win-Win.

Affection is not a payment you dispense for obedience.

Withholding it to punish her or train her into compliance is not holding frame. It makes your behavior revolve around producing a reaction in someone else.

Does that mean you owe physical affection when you don’t want it?

No.

You do not owe performed warmth, unwanted touch, or continued closeness in a relationship you no longer choose.

The distinction is the purpose: honestly govern your own participation, rather than stage-manage connection to make her behave.

If you need space, say so plainly. Don’t turn the distance into a covert test she has to pass.

Address the conflict itself. Offer affection because you genuinely want to, not because she has earned a reward or because you fear losing approval.

NO FREE COMMITMENT:

3. Commitment:

A man with a strong frame does not dictate his woman’s actions.

He also does not hide a major relationship boundary and then punish her for failing to read his mind.

Suppose she asks about a girls’ trip to Vegas and that conflicts with the kind of relationship you want.

State your position clearly. Ask what she actually intends rather than substituting a story for the facts.

You can say, “That kind of trip does not fit the committed relationship I want. Let’s be clear about what each of us is choosing.”

A genuine question is not automatically an attempt to make you DEER. Explaining a boundary is different from begging someone to approve your right to have one.

Clarify the conflict. Consider a real alternative if you want one. Don’t invent a fake compromise or use a breakup threat to manufacture agreement.

If your choices remain incompatible, you can withdraw your commitment cleanly. Her freedom to choose does not obligate you to remain in a relationship that does not fit.

In an ongoing relationship, ordinary disagreement is not automatically proof that you must leave. You can listen, work through conflict, and adjust without surrendering your frame.

The aim is chosen alignment, not forced obedience.

CONCLUSION:

These are boundaries, not manipulation strategies.

If you’re using attention, affection, or commitment to make your woman behave as you wish, you’re operating from the covert contract you claim to reject.

You’re not aiming to change HER behavior.

You’re changing YOUR behavior into that of a man who respects himself, communicates clearly, and chooses what he will participate in.

Hold your boundary. Stops initiating:

The main reason men stop initiating romantically is because they’re scared or tired of getting rejected.

Since they have a weak frame (their personal reality) they interpret the rejection as a pronouncement of the value of their identity.

But you must not initiate for her.

Do it for yourself because as a high-value man, you go after what you want.

You must have outcome independence (OI) though.

OI is confidence.

Confidence = attractive.

2. Gets butt hurt:

Be the Oak. Meaning you bend but you don’t move your roots.

If you're crumbling like a sandcastle when women test or reject your advances, you’re failing to keep your frame.

Women test men for congruence. “Is he who he says he is?”

And if you fail these tests, she shows you, and her, that you aren't who you say you are.

Failing congruence tests aren't you keeping her from getting upset and definitely not from her telling you that "you passed" (lol).

Failing is you reacting to her claim on reality.

By reacting you validate her negative feelz.

By showing amused mastery you display strong rootedness that women find attractive.

3. Seeks validation:

Don’t do anything for a pat on the back or recognition of accomplishment.

If you do, you’re not behaving attractively.

By seeking her validation you’re not drawing her into you.

You're chasing her.

Anything you chase is going away from you.

You’re being a simp.

Validate yourself to yourself and you’ll be surprised how many others follow along.

But if they don’t, it won’t matter to you anyway.

Win, win.

4. Stops caring about appearance:

Physicality is power.

Letting yourself go tells the world you don’t value yourself, so why should anyone else?

Hit the gym, and sharpen your style. Being a 24/7 t-shirt sneaker boy slob isn't a badge of honor because “I don’t care what people think.”

Slobbery signals you don’t care about yourself.

5. Weak Game:

“Game” is the art and science of female attraction.

If you don’t know it, you need to.

The overwhelming majority of men are 1,000% clueless as to what attracts and turns on women.

Game isn't just for single guys, it’s for married men too.

Your wife is a woman, after all.

Having clunky ill-informed Caveman game subconsciously tells women you’re unsuccessful with them in general, which means you’re undesirable.

Women like men other women like.

6. It’s everything.

1. Defend, Excuse, Explain, and Rationalize their Behavior (DEER):

These guys don’t own their actions. They feel compelled to give reasons to justify their behaviors to others.

Explaining yourself to win permission or acquittal in someone else’s shame trial is DEER. Stating facts, owning a mistake, or clarifying a genuine conflict is communication. Don’t confuse the two.

2. Covert Contracts:

Masters of the silent deal. They do something expecting a reward in return, but heaven forbid they say it out loud.

And when they don’t get what they want? Epic sulking session.

These are the men who think their women “ought” to reward them because he ____ (fill in the blank).

No one owes you anything unless they explicitly agreed to it.

Don’t do something because you expect something in return unless that expectation is said aloud and in clear terms.

Otherwise, you’re being too much of a coward to state your true intentions.

3. Seek External Validation:
These fellas can’t make a move without an audience. They’re practically begging for a pat on the back or a gold star.

They can’t do anything without telling someone about it.

“I had a killer workout. I’m getting a lot stronger.”

“I just had an awesome dinner.”

Who cares?

Your rewards are chips other people can cash, so why do you expect them to give a crap?

They don’t.

You just want validation from “expressing yourself.”

4. Look for Permission to Lead:

These men look for cues from others and their women to see if they want to join his ship instead of steering it where he wants to go.

Waiting for permission to lead is not leadership.

5. Oneitis:

Obsession with ‘The One’ is a detrimental psychological reliance that stems directly from the incessant indoctrination of the soulmate fantasy through popular culture.

Newsflash: it’s not healthy, and you’re blinding yourself to reality.

No one other than you is responsible for your happiness.

6. Lack Abundance:
It’s like their woman pool is a dried-up well.

They grab onto any crumbs thrown their way because they don’t believe there’s more where that came from.

These men take crap from their wives not because they want to.

But because they don’t have other options.

Their women know this too and despise them for it because she’s with a dude that no other woman would want to be with either.

You don’t think she thinks about that?

She does.

7. Ruled by Emotion:

Ever seen a kid throw a tantrum in a store?

These guys are the adult version.

They just can’t keep their cool and let their emotions drive them like a stolen car in a high-speed chase.

Feeling an emotion is not losing frame. Making the feeling your master is.

Notice it, separate the sensation from the story, and choose your action. Shaming yourself for the signal only adds another layer of the problem.

8. Feel Guilty for Saying “No”:
Saying “no” isn’t mean, it’s called having boundaries.

These men often end up in situations doing errands and things they don’t want to be doing.

It doesn’t occur to them to just say “no” without DEERING (see #1).

9. Adopt Other People’s Frames:
They’re like human chameleons, just blending into whatever crowd they’re with.

They give tacit approval because they “go along to get along.”

They’ll switch it up faster than a DJ at a rave, all to fit in with the cool kids.

Owning their own worldview would be too painful for them.

But the opposite is true as well.

They get butt-hurt a lot.

Their egos get threatened by the chance that someone else’s frame might be right.

These people drop in on posts to debate and disagree with strangers with no benefit to themselves.

They do this because of ego - theirs is fragile.

It’s why they care about other people’s opinions in the first place - they’re scared they might be right.

10. Have an External Locus of Control:

These types of guys always have “bad luck” and feel critically undervalued.

Chances are they were “mommy’s special boy” and can’t imagine a world where other people don’t see them as mommy did.

If things don’t go their way, they say people are dumb, ignorant, or evil, as if they’re oppressed.

Life is only a box of chocolates if you buy the box.

Stay away from these 10 elements of a weak frame and you’ll be a much freer man.

-Acta Non-Verba

3 Kinds Of Dysfunctional Men

Women are like water.

Aaron C. The Drunk Captain and His Reluctant First Officer:

The Problem:

If your story is, “I used to be alpha, but turned into a beta”, this scenario is for you.

You let things slip, you let yourself go, and your wife reluctantly stepped up to the wheel.

If she hadn't, the whole ship would have ended up on the rocks.

Your wife is now bitterly manning the controls, a place she never wanted to be.

She had always envisioned herself enjoying the voyage from a more passive role.

Your wife now views you as a punk.

Not because you lack the skills or ability, but because you lack the tenacity.

She feels like she’s the one doing everything because she can’t rely on you to handle even the simplest tasks.

You’ve perhaps let yourself go, both physically and financially.

Your irresponsibility and impulsiveness have forced your wife to manage ship duties that you can't afford to outsource.

All the above indicates a lack of self-mastery, which is utterly unattractive to women.

No woman feels a deep attraction to a man that can’t run his own life.

It means he’s weak and in no position to take on a woman and children.

The Solution:

Get your life back on track and start steering your ship without leaning on your wife whatsoever.

Your newfound resolve will likely be met with contempt and scorn, due to your past false starts.

Can you blame her?

But if your wife suggests structural improvements to the ship, she's likely onto something.

Press forward.

2. The Captain and the Complaining Passenger:

In this case, your wife isn't your First Officer; she's just a dissatisfied passenger.

You're constantly on eggshells, incessantly criticized and henpecked.

You've always been the 'nice guy,' not the 'alpha,' and perhaps were even raised by a single mom or as a mommy's boy.

This has caused you to develop a codependent relationship that transferred over to your marriage with your wife.

But beneath all this, you're actually a good captain.

You’re responsible, orderly, and ambitious.

Yet, no matter what you do, your wife seems to be perennially discontented and you feel like a failure for letting her down.

If you did something right it’s:

“Took you long enough.”

Or “You could have done it faster if you would have ____”

If you did something wrong you should have “listened to her all along.”

She’ll then remind you of all your past failures too.

Time to change directions.

The Solution:

You must 100% stop seeking validation from your wife and become your own point of mental origin.

Your validation seeking makes you unattractive.

The codependency must be shattered.

You'll need to establish boundaries and develop robust mental models to support them.

3. The Captain and Her Husband:

You're the guy who feels he “married up.”

Your wife is more attractive than you are and everyone has always known it.

Your wife is at the helm, running a tight ship, while you're just along for the ride.

Her highly regimented approach leaves no room for deviation, and your laid-back nature struggles to find a place.

You’ve got some accomplishments under your belt, but you're tired of not running your own ship.

You are tired of feeling emasculated.

You don’t want sex to be planned down to the minute.

You want passion and to Captain your own ship.

The Solution:

Well, launch your own ship, Captain.

You must increase your sexual market value (SMV).

A woman will never be attracted to a man she is better than.

It’s not how they are wired.

Your wife might not take much notice initially, but as your paths intersect, she'll either have to jump ship and join you or steer off on her own.

Conclusion:

While these types of Captains may not fit you exactly, you fall somewhere on the spectrum of one of them.

But you must not initiate change for her.

That is a covert contract and validation-seeking, which is weak and unattractive.

If your marriage is to work out, it will be because you internalized more attractive and useful mental models that led to you being more desired by your wife.

This, in turn, will bring her into your frame (your reality) as it would have done with countless other women.

Your job is to be awesome. Not to fix your marriage or anyone else.

Her job is to figure out how she can add value to you in other ways you desire.

If she won’t, you’ll be in a much better position for someone that will.

-Acta Non Verba
